Nkululeko Conco hails from Pietermaritzburg. He has developed an interest in law concerning human rights – political, socio-economic and environmental rights. His area of practice has predominantly been commercial litigation. he firmly believes that law should be used to protect the marginalized members of society. This involves various actors (government, civil society, corporates, educational institutions, businesses, religious organizations and individuals) working together closely with a common goal in mind.
Nkululeko also serves on the Parish Council of his local parish. He has previously been President of the UKZN Rotaract Club; a committee member on the Pietermaritzburg Association of Candidate Attorneys (PACA) as well as a member of Students for Law and Social Justice (SLSJ).
He enjoys reading, the performing arts (especially the Rainbow Theatre Group), doing Parkruns and a particularly rare game of tennis.
